HISTORICAL MEMORIES

Miniatures, porcelain, medals, military decorations, furniture from royal estates... History, big and small, is embodied by these exceptional objects that collectors seek with passion.

Audap & Associés regularly organizes sales of historical souvenirs, collected by great enthusiasts or preserved for several centuries by families with a rich history.

In 2018 and 2019, Me Audap sold, on the occasion of two sales, an exceptional palestric collection counting hundreds of medals, including the case of the decorations of the 2nd Duke of CAMBACERES, grand master of the ceremonies of NAPOLEON III and a jewel of the Legion of Honor by COUDRAY having belonged to the Duke of BERRY.

Concerned with safeguarding heritage, museums carefully monitor our sales. Important works have thus been pre-empted by historical institutions, such as the Legion of Honor museum, the Château de Versailles and the Condé museum in Chantilly.
