What to offer at auction

Diamonds, coloured stones, antique, modern and designer jewellery, watches, etc.

Our specialised auctions bring together in a single catalogue pieces from a number of different settings, in order to attract the attention of French and international collectors and professionals from the world of luxury.

Some exceptional pieces have fetched very high prices in recent years, including an Art Deco lapis lazuli pendant by CARTIER set in platinum and adorned with diamonds, emeralds and turquoise cabochons - €115.000 - and a platinum ring set with a large 12-carat Burmese sapphire (Myanmar), for €80.000.

What about pearls?

Provided they are "fine", pearls are highly sought-after today by a clientele that is often foreign and very dynamic at auction.

For example, we sold a pair of earrings adorned with large pear-shaped fine pearls for €32.800 on 4 December 2020 and a necklace of 64 fine pearls for €25.100 on 8 June 2022.

If you would like to know whether the pearls in your necklace are "fine" or "cultured", you can contact us to obtain the opinion of our expert and, if necessary, of a specialist laboratory that will scientifically authenticate the type of pearls.

Signed jewellery: added value?

Attributing your jewellery to a famous house or designer adds value.
The houses of Place Vendôme are veritable institutions, signing the creations that come out of their workshops - like VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, BOUCHERON, MELLERIO or CARTIER. Their signatures, provided they are authenticated by our experts, can boost bids tenfold.
On June 5, 2025, a collection of nine VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, BULGARI and BUCCELLATI jewels was sold for a total of over €340,000.
Some brilliant jewellers generate the same craze as these famous houses, such as Jules WIEZE in the 19th century, René LALIQUE in the Art-Nouveau period, Suzanne BELPERRON, Line VAUTRIN and the LALANNEs in the 20th century.
A rare brooch "à la Nymphe Ailée", created by René LALIQUE in yellow gold, two-tone plique à jour vert enamel and small diamonds, sold for €85.000 a few years ago, and a pair of earrings by CASTELLANI for €20.600 in 2022.

The value of a watch?

Our team also includes an independent expert specialising in watchmaking, who can estimate the value of the watches (wristwatches or pocket watches) you wish to include in our sales.

Here again, classic or rare models from famous watchmaking houses such as ROLEX, OMEGA, VACHERON CONSTANTIN, PATEK PHILIPPE, etc., are of particular interest to collectors.
Very good results were obtained at auction by the "watchmaking" sections of our recent sales, notably €19,500 for a Rolex Daytona and €32,800 for a Cartier wristwatch.

Silverware, gold boxes, display objects

Audap & associés regularly sells silverware and objets de vitrine to collectors and lovers of tableware, offering both antique and modern pieces of silverware.

Housewares, shaped pieces, gold boxes and snuffboxes: numerous bidders are especially looking for rare and unusual creations: antique silverware bearing the hallmarks of great craftsmen such as BALLIN, ROETTIERS, BALZAC; 19th & 20th century silverware signed by houses such as ODIOT, BIENNAIS, PUYFORCAT, CHRISTOFLE; display objects chiselled by great manufacturers, snuffboxes, seals, chatelaines, etc.
A recent auction, held on December 9, 2025, saw the sale for €46,000 of an important yellow gold and enamel box, featuring a medal with the effigy of Catherine II of Russia.
In April 2023, we sold an exceptional enamelled gold lorgnette concealing a miniature watch, a carrousel automaton and a music box, a rare work by talented Swiss goldsmiths, enamellers and chisellers and by the watchmaker PUYROCHE around 1805, for €347.000.

In 2022, we also sold a large pair of silver candelabras made by Nicolas BOULANGER around 1810, each decorated with four leaning swans, for €29.600.
