Ludwig MIES VAN DER ROHE (1886-1969) & KNOLL (publisher) Suite of two "Barcelona" armchairs, model created in 1929, in chromed sheet metal with slightly curved back and seat on X-shaped lateral legs. Back and seat with removable webbed cushions fully upholstered in black padded leather. Publisher's labels and numbered E98M 2556 and 2559, marked Knoll on reverse of upholstery. (Publisher's mark on the legs of each. Small stains and scuffs to leather).
