LOUIS XV. ESPAGNAC (Jean-Baptiste-Joseph d'Amarzit-Sahuguet, Baron d'): Journal historique de la dernière campagne de l'armée du roi, en 1746. Enriched with plans & a map of Brabant, for the understanding of positions. A la Haye, Henry Scheurleer, 1747; in-8, XV pp., [1], 235 pp. full red morocco, ornate spine with faux-nerves, tan morocco title-piece, triple gilt fillet and arms stamped on the boards, fine interior lace, gilt edges. Contemporary binding. Illustrated with seven hors-texte folding engravings, four of which are battle plans, the other three being geographical maps. Detailed account of the 1746 campaigns in Belgium, including the sieges of Antwerp and Namur, and the battle of Raucoux. A very fine copy bound with the coat of arms of Louis-Hyacinthe Boyer de Crémilles, 1700-1768, who in 1746 was maréchal général des logis of the Armée de Flandre (one engraving torn, battle plan).
