Magnificent publication accompanied by 42 color lithographed plates: view of Tunis (4: Bizerte, Carthage, Sousse, Monastir, monuments, civil and military costumes, (8); the table lists 38 plates. The first 16 pages of text are wet in the lower margin, but not on the plates. Correspondence from the author to Charles Comte.
