Molded, carved and painted beech armchair, with cabriolet backrest, decorated with rai-de-coeur, foliage, pearls and rosettes, resting on tapered legs with fluting and filleting; (accidents; restorations, notably repainting). Louis XVI period. Height 90 cm ; Width : 62 cm Provenance : Paris, Daguerre sale, November 10, 2017, lot 249. The architecture and decoration of this armchair are to be compared with the production of Jean-Baptiste Boulard; for the decoration, the armchair sold Monaco, Christie's, July 1, 1995, lot 146 and for the architecture, the armchairs delivered for the Baron de Breteuil at the Château de Fontainebleau, sale Paris, Pecheteau-Badin, February 6 and 7, 2002, lot 333 (cited by L.
