Quantin, 1882, 1883; 2 works in 2 vols. large in-8, contemporary bindings in blue morocco, on the boards a large gilt frame with a fan at the corners for one volume and an umbrella for the other one, large inner lace, spines decorated with gilt boxes with motifs recalling the title, gilt edges, illustrated covers and spine, cases (Chambolle-Duru).
Each book is decorated with numerous illustrations by Paul Avril which translate with as much taste as mastery and humour the then obligatory accessories of the female sex.
