Volunteer officer's saber. Basane covered handle with watermark. Chiselled brass mount, gilded. Pommel with empanaché helmet. Guard with openwork shell, with cock motif. Curved blade with flat back and hollow sides. Leather scabbard with three cut out brass trimmings, decorated with a line. End of the 18th century (old but later leather).
