Pierre-Alphonse de Baillehache (1808-1883) set for an avocat général at the Imperial Court of Colmar, including: - Taupe felt bicorne trimmed with black feathers. Black cotton thread embroidered braid and buttons with foliage on black velvet. Red satinette headdress marked Rouart, rue de Richelieu, Paris. Leather headband. Leather headband - Black velvet suit, richly embroidered at collar, breastplate, facings and waist knot with leaf, oak leaf and laurel embroidery. Velvet buttons embroidered en suite. Black sateen lining. Tears at collar and back. One pocket contains an invitation to the 1860 Colmar regional agricultural competition. - Black drap pants with velvet band embroidered with foliage. Meyer Himmes buttons - Magistrate's sword. Chased and gilded brass mount with steel rods, brass and steel chain guard. Keypad with openwork eagle motif, decorated en suite. Triangular blade engraved in thirds. Brass hilt (leather and bolt missing). A.B.E. Second Empire period.
