A pair of ormolu torches, decorated with foliage, piasters, shells and meanders, the shaft with flutes and garlands resting on a tripod base; (restorations and missing parts). Based on a model by the ornamentalist Jean-Charles Delafosse (1734-1789). Late 18th-early 19th century. Height Height : 20.5 cm. Fig. - Works by Jean-Charles Delafosse, vol. A pair of candelabras consisting of a pair of identical torches, surmounted by two light arms, once belonged to the collection of Hubert de Givenchy (his sale in Monaco, Christie's, December 4, 1993, lot 17).
