Ghoum silk carpet (warp, weft and silk velvet), central Persia, circa 1950-1970 (Good condition.) Length: 190 cm; Width: 130 cm This finely knotted carpet is embellished with numerous horsemen chasing animals on an ivory background decorated with flowering trees and polychrome birds.
