Bacchante clock in patinated bronze, gilt bronze and white marble, the dial showing the hours, minutes and date of the month, flanked by two loves riding goats, resting on a base with a frieze of children's games and horns of plenty; (small accidents). Louis XVI period. Height : 53 cm ; Width : 38 cm ; Depth : 11 cm The model of this clock was highly prized and produced in various variants. A similar model is preserved in the Musée du Petit Palais, and another in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs. Expert : Pierre-François DAYOT
