Rifle Winchester model 1873 "1 of 1000" caliber 44 WCF. Flush-fitting barrel, with notch and 60 cm sight, with patents "WINCHESTER'S-REPEATING ARMS NEW HAVEN CT KING'S IMPROVEMENT PATENTED 29 MARCH 1866 OCTOBER 16 1860", engraved with thunder and muzzle foliate scrolls, marked in a cartouche "One of One Thousand". Trigger tail with adjusting screw. Breechstock stamped "MODEL 1873". Varnished walnut stock. 80% bronzed. Overall length: 110 cm. N° 27044. Category D weapon (collector's weapons) since September 2023. The original certificate from the Gun Winchester Museum, signed by curator T.E. Hall, and the original certificate from the Winchester repeating Fire Arms Cody Firearms museum, signed by Waddy Covert, giving details of the weapon numbered "27044" are enclosed: "1 of 1000 Rifle Octagon Barrel Set Trigger Plain X wood stock Casehardended Swiveled Received in the warehouse on June 14 1877 Shipped from the warehouse on June 14 1877, order number 9249". Mr Guillou's letter concerning this weapon (2000) and Jean Guillou's invoice dated 1968 are attached to the file.
