Paris, Engelmann et Graf, 1846; in-12 square, contemporary red morocco binding, the boards and spine entirely decorated with gilt monograms, green morocco lining, wide gilt lace in frame, green moiré silk endpapers, gilt and anti-marked edges, two gilt metal clasps, same morocco case (Capé).
Beautiful book of hours published in imitation of those of the 15th century, all pages decorated with chromolithographed gothic scenes and decorative motifs.
REMARKABLE BINDING BY CHARLES-FRANCOIS CAPÉ, in red morocco lined with green morocco, offering on both boards and spine a decoration of gilt monograms AM. Given by Jean-Philippe de Montrachy to Marie-Gabrielle du Tilleu on their wedding day, 8.VII.1856
