DEHARME Lise. Le Coeur de Pic. Paris, José Corti, 1937; in-4 of [60] pages, publisher's red illustrated olive cloth spine boards, bottom cover slightly rubbed. Extremely rare first edition, decorated with two color compositions on the cover and 20 full-page photographs by Claude Cahun. Lise Deharme, poetess friend of André Breton and Paul Éluard, was one of the four muses of the Surrealists with Valentine Hugo, Dora Maar and Nusch Éluard. The Dictionary of Surrealism cites nine books of her ignoring this one. A renowned photographer, Claude Cahun was involved in the Surrealist movement.
